Fringe Deaths will begin performances at St. Luke's Theatre June 28, with an opening date set for July 26.
Written and directed by Rider McDowell, the play with music tells the story of four American celebrities who died under tragic circumstances.
Tiffan Borelli stars as Barbara Payton, with Alec Hynes as Carl 'Alfalfa' Switzer, Neil Vincent Smith as George Reeves, and Scott Zimmerman as Jack Ruby. Jerry Shulman, Jenny Strassburg, Sean-Michael Wilkinson, and Sandy York round out the ensemble.
Based on McDowell’s experience as an investigative reporter, Fringe Deaths promises to reveal the actual last moments of these personalities.
Fringe Deaths will feature scenic design by Ariel Leigh Cohen, costume design by Joe Kassner, lighting design by Maarten Cornelis, and sound design by Bob Franco, with musical direction by William Linster.
