As previously reported, the company will be led by Rosalie Craig in the central role of Bobbie, with two-time Tony winner Patti LuPone as Joanne and Mel Giedroyc as Sarah.

Newly announced are the actors playing Bobbie’s three boyfriends: Richard Fleeshman (The Last Ship, Ghost the Musical) as Andy, George Blagden (Versailles, Les Miserables) as PJ, and Matthew Seadon-Young (Assassins, Beautiful) as Theo. All three characters—like the leading role of Bobbie—have been re-gendered for this new production (they will sing the trio “You Could Drive a Person Crazy”). Sondheim himself renamed the roles; Andy was originally April, PJ was originally Marta, and Theo was Kathy.

The cast will also include Gavin Spokes (Quiz, Carousel) as Harry, who is married to Sarah (Giedroyc), Richard Henders (Anything Goes, Candide) and Jennifer Saayeng (Caroline or Change, Ragtime) playing David and Jenny, Ashley Campbell (The Rat Pack Live from Vegas, Sunny Afternoon) as Peter, and Ben Lewis (The Phantom of the Opera, Annie Get Your Gun) playing opposite LuPone as Joanne’s husband Larry. Additional casting will be announced shortly.
