The series about the famed Broadway duo premieres April 9.

Critics have begun to file their reviews of FX's latest limited series, Fosse/Verdon, ahead of the theatre-focused show's April 9 premiere. See what they had to say below.

Oscar winner Sam Rockwell and Oscar and Tony nominee Michelle Williams star as Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon, respectively, with several additional stage names playing Broadway luminaries in the exploration of the glitz, glam, and grit of theatre in the 1950s–1970s. The series hails from executive producer Lin-Manuel Miranda, director (and Miranda's Hamilton cohort) Thomas Kail, Dear Evan Hansen scribe Steven Levenson (who also serves as showrunner), and Fosse and Verdon's daughter Nicole Fosse.
