Uma Thurman made her official Broadway debut November 30 as the politically-charged drama The Parisian Woman celebrated its opening night at the Hudson Theatre. The play also marks the Broadway debut of playwright and House of Cards creator Beau Willimon.
Tony winner Pam MacKinnon directs a cast that also includes Josh Lucas, Tony winner Blair Brown, Marton Csokas, and Hamilton Tony nominee Phillipa Soo. Understudies are Sydney Lemmon and Ron Menzel.
The 90-minute production is billed as a limited engagement through March 11, 2018.

Inspired by Henry Becque's 1885 French farce La Parisienne, The Parisian Woman follows a power couple (Thurman and Lucas) as they angle to secure a judicial post—blurring the lines between ambition and morality.
The piece was first commissioned and developed by the Flea Theater before being produced at South Coast Repertory in 2013. Willimon has heavily revised the piece since its California debut to reflect the political climate.
The production features sets by Derek McLane, costumes by Jane Greenwood, lighting design by Peter Kaczorowski, projection design by Darrel Maloney, and sound design by Broken Chord. Hair design is by Tom Watson and make-up design is by Tommy Kurzman. Casting is by Telsey + Company, Will Cantler CSA.
