Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! returns to the New York stage this season at St. Ann’s Warehouse. The Bard SummerScape production opened at the Brooklyn venue October 7, marking its Off-Broadway debut following a sold-out run at the Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts at Bard College in 2015. Daniel Fish’s environmental staging aims to explore the darker connotations of the 1943 musical.

The production’s original cast members—Damon Daunno (Curly), Patrick Vaill (Jud Fry), Mary Testa (Aunt Eller), Mallory Portnoy (Gertie Cummings), and James Davis (Will Parker)—return for the new engagement. They are joined by Rebecca Naomi Jones as Laurey, Ali Stroker as Ado Annie, Anthony Cason as Cord, Michael Nathanson as Ali Hakim, Will Mann as Mike, and Mitch Tebo as Annie's father.
