Industry News Property From the Estate of Tony Winner Barbara Cook Will Be Auctioned The gifted Broadway soprano died in August 2017 at the age of 89.

Items from the estate of Tony winner Barbara Cook, star of such shows as The Music Man and Candide, will be available for purchase in a series of auctions beginning February 14. Doyle Auctioneers & Appraisers is handling the property, which features fine jewelry, stage jewelry, accessories, furniture, and art.

Ms. Cook died August 8, 2017, at the age of 89.

Over the course of her 65 five-year career, Ms. Cook won Tony, Grammy, Drama Desk, and New York Drama Critics Circle Awards, was inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame, and was cited as a Living New York Landmark. In 2011 she became a Kennedy Center Honors recipient.
