The new, multi-year national tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats launched January 22, 2019, at the Providence Performing Arts Center, with 24 cities planned for its first year. The tour features new choreography by Hamilton Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler, based on the original choreography by the late Gillian Lynne.

Based on T.S. Eliot’s book of poems, Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, Cats immerses the audience in the world of nocturnal “Jellicle Cats” as they gather for the Jellicle Ball.
