Broadway News Principal Casting Set for Broadway’s Beetlejuice Six principals from the musical’s Washington, D.C., world premiere will reprise their performances in New York City.

The upcoming Broadway premiere of Beetlejuice has started to assemble its ghouls and goths. The incoming musical confirmed that its six principal players from the world premiere in Washington, D.C., will reprise their performances at the Winter Garden Theatre, where performances will begin March 28.

Taking on the title “freelance bio-exorcist” is Tony nominee Alex Brightman, with Sophia Anne Caruso starring alongside side him as teenage loner Lydia Deetz. Joining them are Tony nominees Kerry Butler and Rob McClure as Barbara and Adam Maitland and Leslie Kritzer and Adam Dannheisser as Lydia and Charles Deetz.

Opening night for the musical, penned by Anthony King, Scott Brown, and composer Eddie Perfect is set for April 25. Additional casting for the Alex Timbers-helmed production will be announced later.
