TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR, Paper Mill Playhouse
Tony award winning theatre Paper Mill Playhouse, Millburn NJ, just seventeen miles from NYC, is in search of a Technical Supervisor. Under the direction of the Director of Production, the Technical Supervisor serves as a key member of Paper Mill’s Production Department. The Technical Supervisor works closely with the design and creative teams for each production, facilitating communication with scenic, prop, electrics and sound shops, Local 21 stagehands and PMP management.

SOLO FLIGHTS TECHNICAL POSITIONS, Theatre Aspen
Theatre Aspen is seeking theatre technicians to support our inaugural one-person show festival SOLO FLIGHTS, Sept. 14-22, 2019. We are accepting materials for the following positions: production manager, AEA stage managers, lighting designer/board op, sound designer/operator, and head carpenter. We are especially interested in those who may have cross-departmental skills.

Montclair State University seeks a performance level Audio Engineer for the Alexander Kasser Theater. The Audio Engineer supports the realization of performances, events and programs held within the Alexander Kasser Theater as well as the ongoing maintenance of those facilities according to the mandate given The Office of Arts + Cultural Programming by the College of the Arts at Montclair State University.

THEATRICAL WIG SUPERVISOR, Norwegian Creative Studios
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings is seeking Theatrical Wig Supervisors for their “Broadway Series” productions. These positions require a six-month commitment at sea onboard some the worlds most luxurious cruise ships after training and rehearsal in Tampa, FL at the Norwegian Creative Studios. Applicant should have experience in styling and maintaining wigs as well as the ability to cut and style human hair. Previous experience in running shows and creating period and highly detailed hairstyles with lace wigs is required.

ASSISTANT SOUND DESIGNER (A-2) & SPOT OPERATOR, Interlakes Summer Theatre
We need an assistant to work with our sound designer on all aspects of sound design and projections work. Also need a spot operator who we can employ at other times in a different capacity depending on your skill set.

STAGE STAFF AND CREW, Theater for the New City
Seeking crew for "No Brainer Or The Solution To Parasites," the Theater for the New City Award Winning Annual Street Theater Tour of New York City for their diverse Theater Company. This is a full-scale musical production with 30 actors and a 5-piece band, which will tour all five boroughs of New York City in August and September. Evening and weekend hours are a must. A good candidate must be organized, and able ot lift props. Stipend is $50 a week for rehearsals and $25 a show.

CONSERVATORY DESIGN & PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE (LIGHTING), American Conservatory Theater
This position will work in close collaboration with the Conservatory Production Manager and Conservatory Design and Production Associates to oversee load-in, tech, and operation of the ACT Conservatory productions. The Conservatory, led by Melissa Smith, now serves 3,000 students every year. It was the first actor training program in the United States not affiliated with a college university accredited to award a master of fine arts degree. The Conservatory is made up of the MFA program, Young Conservatory and the Education departments. The Conservatory season consists of 20-25 productions of various sizes in multiple venues.

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR, LACKLAND CENTER/FULL TIME THEATRE ARTS FACULTY, Centenary University
Technical Director for the Lackland Center Facility and Full Time Theatre Arts Faculty are considered one position. Candidate must have an MFA in technical theatre and/or related work experience. The Lackland Center includes a 500 seat proscenium stage and a 99 seat black box space as well as a Dance Studio, shop and costume facility as well as a TV studio and Radio station. The candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining the technical aspects of a theatre facility. The position is also serves as TD of the Centenary Stage Company, a professional not-for-profit theatre located on the Centenary University campus.

Theatre for a New Audience, an award-winning off-Broadway LORT-C theatre whose mission is to develop and vitalize the performance and study of Shakespeare and classic drama alongside other new work, is seeking a dynamic individual to serve the role of an Assistant Production Manager. The Assistant Production Manager assists the Production Manager on each project to help ensure that all production elements are in place and come in on budget; including full Productions, Readings, and various Events.

George Street Playhouse, an Active LORT theatre 40 minutes from Manhattan, seeks an experienced Assistant Costume Shop Manager to assist the Costume Shop Manager in running the costume shop for their 5 show mainstage and 2 show educational touring company season. Main responsibilities include: working on the shop floor in the areas of stitching, cutting, draping, altering, dying, and craftwork; assisting with fittings, shopping and assisting wardrobe with hair styling, wigs and or make up work.
