Industry News Off-Broadway’s Theatre Row Announces New Leadership Three theatre veterans will join the team at the newly renovated 42nd Street venue.

Theatre Row has announced a handful of leadership appointments to its team.

Director and producer Sarah Hughes will serve as the director of artistic Programming. In the past, Hughes has worked with Elevator Repair Service, lending her hand to such productions as Gatz, The Sound and The Fury, The Select, Arguendo, and Shuffle.

Stephanie Rolland, former artistic line producer at McCarter Theatre Center, joins as director of theatre operations. Among her projects, Rolland co-founded Interfest, a Harlem-based arts and ideas festival focused on intersectionality and mutual liberation.

Also joining is Emma Montoya Hills, transferring from HERE Arts Center, as associate general manager.

“We are in the midst of launching new artistic initiatives focused on making Off-Broadway accessible to a broader, more diverse audience. We are thrilled to have this fantastic team at the helm,” said Wendy Rowden, president of Building for the Arts, the non-profit organization that operates Theatre Row.

Rowden also announced the appointment of Josh Landay as Building for the Arts' chief of staff.
