North Shore Music Theatre, the in-the-round venue located in Beverly, Massachusetts, will present five musicals during its 2019 summer season.

The forthcoming season will launch June 4 with the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Oklahoma!, which will continue through June 16. The Disney musical Freaky Friday, featuring a book by Bridget Carpenter and a score by Tony winners Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey will follow, playing July 9–21.

The Tony-winning Best Musical Jersey Boys, which charts the rise of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, will play the Massachusetts venue August 6–18. Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard, based on the Billy Wilder film of the same name, will begin performances September 24. The musical, about faded silent-screen star Norma Desmond and down-on-his luck writer Joe Gillis, will continue through October 6.

The season concludes October 29 with The Bodyguard, based on the 1992 film starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner. Featuring such pop standards as “The Greatest Love of All,” “So Emotional,” “Saving All My Love,” “I Will Always Love You,” and more, the limited run will conclude November 10.
