Actor, rapper, and producer Nick Cannon has revealed that he has Broadway plans in store for his improv series Wild ‘n Out.

The entertainer recently told Entertainment Weekly, “There’s some super-duper talented people on my show that need that theatre experience, so we’re taking Wild ‘n Out to Broadway.”

The show premiered on MTV in 2005, where it ran for two years. Following a six-year hiatus, Wild ‘n Out returned to MTV2, where it is currently in its eighth season. The series features Cannon and a group of comedians and celebrity guests as they compete in a variety of improv and freestyle games.

“I was inspired by so many different things that’s going on on Broadway right now—the energy, the talent. I’ve always been inspired by the theatre when it comes to Wild ‘n Out,” Cannon admits.
