Hamilton alum Nicholas Christopher returns to the Broadway mega-hit June 18, stepping once again into the role of George Washington. He replaces Carvens Lissaint at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.

Christopher first joined the New York company as a standby in April 2016, assuming the role full-time for a limited engagement beginning that November. He went on to star as Aaron Burr in the national tour. His additional credits include Miss Saigon and Motown on Broadway.

The current cast also includes Austin Scott as Alexander Hamilton, Aaron Breaker as Aaron Burr, Denée Benton as Eliza Hamilton, Mandy Gonzalez as Angelica Schuyler, James Monroe Iglehart as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson, Joanna A. Jones as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds, Euan Morton as King George, Wallace Smith as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison, and Anthony Lee Medina as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton.

In addition to Broadway and the national touring companies, the Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical plays a sit-down engagement in Chicago through the end of year and in London's West End; it will make its Australian premiere in 2021.
