Dance News New York City Ballet's Tiler Peck and More to Dance at NYC Dance Alliance Foundation Benefit The DESTINY RISING performance at The Joyce Theater will benefit the Foundation's College Scholarship Program.

Tiler Peck, a principal in the New York City Ballet and an alum of Broadway's On the Town, is set to perform as a special guest at the NYC Dance Alliance Foundation's DESTINY RISING benefit performance at The Joyce Theater.

The charity performance will take place January 21 at 7:30 PM, and all proceeds will benefit the NYC Dance Alliance Foundation College Scholarship Program, which has awarded $2.5 million in college scholarships to date to over 250 dancers around the country. It will feature the giving of $75,000–$100,000 in college scholarships, as well as a new commissioned work featuring the NYCDAF's 2018 scholarship winners. There will also be a talkback following the performances.

Peck will perform with Michael Cain, and the evening will showcase work by choreographers including Jonathan Campbell, Alexandra Damiani, Olympia Jordan, Katie Langan, Jason Luks, Rachel Kreiling, and Suzi Taylor. Also set to perform is dance company MADBOOTS, Marymount Manhattan Dance Company, and the Columbia Performing Arts Center from Missouri.
