Film & TV News New Fosse/Verdon Trailer Recreates Scenes From Cabaret, Damn Yankees, More The extended look at the upcoming FX limited series about Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon's personal and professional partnership shows Verdon's work behind the scenes.

Willkommen, theatre lovers! FX released a new trailer for its upcoming Fosse/Verdon miniseries that takes viewers behind the glitz and glamour of Broadway power couple Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon to show their first interactions, her work with him behind the scenes, and the creation of Liza Minnelli's iconic "Mein Herr" costume in Cabaret.

The series, starring Sam Rockwell and Michelle Williams, will premiere April 9. Take a look at the new trailer above.

Also among those also set to appear are Ethan Slater as Joel Grey, Ahmad Simmons as Ben Vereen, Kelli Barrett as Liza Minnelli, Bianca Marroquin as Chita Rivera, Norbert Leo Butz as Paddy Chayefsky, Laura Osnes as Shirley MacLaine. Look carefully for cameos from some of them in the new trailer.

Lin-Manuel Miranda is an executive producer on the series, along with Thomas Kail(who directs the pilot), Dear Evan Hansen scribe Steven Levenson (who wrote the pilot and serves as showrunner), Fosse and Verdon’s daughter Nicole Fosse, George Stelzner, and Joel Fields. Andy Blankenbuehler serves as choreographer on the series with Broadway alum Susan Misner, with Alex Lacamoire as supervising music producer.
