Pint of Wine Theatre Company’s U.K. premiere of Michael John LaChiusa’s Queen of the Mist will transfer to London’s Charing Cross Theatre for a limited, seven-week engagement August 15–October 5.

Queen of the Mist will officially open August 19. The production played an engagement at the Brockley Jack Studio Theatre earlier this spring.

The full cast will transfer with the production, including Trudi Camilleri (Ragtime, Death Takes a Holiday, Charing Cross Theatre) as Anna Edson Taylor, who set out to be the first person to survive the plunge over Niagara Falls in a barrel of her own design.

Also featured in the cast are Will Arundell, Emily Juler, Emma Ralston, Tom Blackmore, Conor McFarlane, and Andrew Carter.

A London cast recording will be released ahead of the August transfer.

Queen of the Mist premiered Off-Broadway at the Transport Group on 2011. The musical features book, lyrics, and music by five-time Tony Award nominee Michael John LaChiusa (Hello Again, The Wild Party, Marie Christine).

Queen of the Mist is directed by Dom O’Hanlon, with musical supervision by Jordan Li-Smith and musical direction by Connor Fogel. The production will have set design by Tara Usher, lighting design by Bethany Gupwell, and sound design by Adrian Jeakins.
