Academy Award nominee Michael O’Keefe (The Great Santini) and Angelina Fiordellisi (Out of the Mouths of Babes) star in Charles L. Mee's play First Love at Cherry Lane Theatre this June. The production is directed by Kim Weild, who directed Mee’s acclaimed Soot and Spit.
In First Love, a couple in their 60s meet and fall in love for the first time in their lives. The two work their way toward one another through the accumulated baggage of their lives, wondering if they can avoid sabotaging the last chance for love they'll ever have.
Performances will begin performances June 7 ahead of a June 14 opening. The limited Off-Broadway engagement is scheduled through July 8.
