Film & TV News Mean Girls’ Tina Fey Will Return to Saturday Night Live as Host Broadway alum Amy Schumer is also scheduled to host the long-running NBC program before the end of its current season.

Tina Fey, the co-creator of the new Broadway musical Mean Girls, will return to Saturday Night Live as a host for the sixth time next month.

Fey, a former series regular, will host the NBC program May 19. The broadcast will mark the season finale for SNL and will feature Nicki Minaj as the musical guest.

Actor and comedian Amy Schumer, who made her Broadway debut this past season in Steve Martin's Meteor Shower, will return for her second time as host May 12. The musical guest will be Kasey Musgraves.

SNL will return May 5 with a new episode hosted by Donald Glover with Grammy winner Childish Gambino as the musical guest.

Mean Girls, based on the 2004 comedy of the same name (which Fey penned and appeared in), officially opened April 8 at Broadway's August Wilson Theatre. The show features music by Jeff Richmond (Fey's husband) and lyrics by Nell Benjamin. Casey Nicholaw directs.
