Freddie Falls in Love, the dance narrative created by Emmy–nominated So You Think You Can Dance choreographer and former Wicked cast member Al Blackstone, will return to the Joyce Theater this summer for a limited two-week run July 23–August 4.

Originally conceived and presented as a fundraiser for Dancers Responding to AIDS, the dance narrative follows a boy on his journey of self-discovery after experiencing heartbreak. The piece made its New York City premiere in 2016.

Original cast members Matt Doyle (The Book of Mormon, The Heart of Rock and Roll) and SYTYCD alum Melanie Moore—whose Broadway credits include Hello, Dolly! and Finding Neverland—will reprise their performances.
