Off-Broadway News Mary Page Marlowe Opens July 12 Off-Broadway Tracy Letts’ new drama pieces together the portrait of an ordinary woman, played by six different actors, from 11 moments in her life.

Second Stage Theater celebrates the official opening of Mary Page Marlowe July 12. The new play by Tony-winning playwright and actor Tracy Letts pieces together a portrait of a woman from 11 key moments in her life—told out of chronological order and portrayed by six different actors.

Mary Page Marlowe, directed by Drama Desk Award-winning director Lila Neugebauer, began performances June 19 in 2ST’s Tony Kiser Theater.

The title role in the Off-Broadway production is shared by Blair Brown, Emma Geer, Tatiana Maslany, Susan Pourfar, Mia Sinclair Jenness, and Kellie Overbey.

Rounding out the 18-member cast are David Aaron Baker, Nick Dillenburg, Grace Gummer, Tess Frazer, Kayli Carter, Audrey Corsa, Marcia Debonis, Ryan Foust, Brian Kerwin, Maria Elena Ramirez, Elliot Villar, and Gary Wilmes.

Mary Page Marlowe received its world premiere at Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre in 2016 with direction by Artistic Director Anna D. Shapiro; the production featured a 21-member cast, including seven actors who shared the title role.

The 2ST production has scenic design by Laura Jellinek, costume design by Kaye Voyce, lighting design by Tyler Micoleau, sound design by Brandon Wolcott, and casting by Telsey + Company.
