Off-Broadway News Marry Harry Musical Finds Its Cast The York Theatre Company will stage the New York premiere of the new romantic comedy.

The York Theatre Company has announced casting for its upcoming production of the new musical Marry Harry, a New York-set romantic comedy about two adults who need help cutting their parental ties. The musical features a book by Jennifer Robbins (Hudson River Blues) and music and lyrics by Dan Martin and Michael Biello (In My Body, The Cousins Grimm).

The Off-Broadway premiere, directed and choreographed by Bill Castellino, will begin April 25 and is set to play through May 21. The show will officially open May 4 at the York Theatre Company at Saint Peter’s.

The cast of Marry Harry will be made up of Ben Chavez (Bombshell), Morgan Cowling (The Phantom of the Opera), Jesse Manocherian (The Baker's Wife at Gallery Players), Claire Saunders (Barrington's Theatre's The Pirates of Penzance), Robin Skye (Parade), David Spadora (ValueVille), and Lenny Wolpe (Dear World).

Marry Harry, according to York production notes, is a story of family loyalty, marriage, love, food, and finding your way in life, set in New York’s East Village.

The show received a full production at NYMF in 2013, followed by a run at American Theatre Group in Rahway, New Jersey, in 2014. The New York premiere will feature scenic design by James Morgan, costumes by Tyler Holland, and lighting design by Paul Miller. The production stage manager will be Bethany Ellen Clark, and the stage manager is Shanna Allison.
