Hamilton and In the Heights star Mandy Gonzalez kicks off the new season at the Schimmel Center at Pace University September 29 with a solo concert of songs from her album Fearless: B Sides. The concert is at 7:30 PM.
Fearless: B Sides, released earlier this year, features five new tracks, including Gonzalez's interpretations of classic tunes like "I Only Have Eyes For You" and "Bein' Green," as well as her first Spanish-language recording, "Vivir Mi Vida."
Gonzalez currently stars in Hamilton on Broadway and is also known for creating the role of Nina in In the Heights, the first of several collaborations between Gonzalez and Lin-Manuel Miranda (who also penned the title track on Fearless). The song is inspired by Gonzalez's personal story to explore political and familial issues.
