Hudson Valley's LUMBERYARD Center for Film and Performing Arts will be a creative home to a number of New York City artists this summer, including Elevator Repair Service, The TEAM (directed by Tony Award nominee Rachel Chavkin), and Bill T. Jones and his Arnie Zane Company. The companies will be in residency for LUMBERYARD's "Tech Week," programming—providing much-needed space and design resources during a show's final stages of production.
Ephrat Asherie Dance; the Obie Award-winning 600 HIGHWAYMEN; and multi-disciplinary artist Machine Dazzle will also take part in the residency this summer, which will culminate in work-in-progress showings.

The fact that these are some of the City’s most exciting and accomplished makers of contemporary performance is evidence that the support LUMBERYARD provides is in high demand—even at top of the field,” said Adrienne Willis, LUMBERYARD's executive and artistic director. “We can’t wait to have them in the Hudson Valley, where the region will be the first to experience their newest work.”
LUMBERYARD supports New York City artists through the development of new productions, with a focus on the integration of the final technical and design elements.
