Starring Michael Urie and Mercedes Ruehl, Torch Song opens after a successful run at Off-Broadway's Second Stage.

Following a successful run Off-Broadway, Harvey Fierstein's Torch Song officially opens on Broadway at the Helen Hayes Theatre November 1.

Directed by Moisés Kaufman (The Laramie Project), the production stars Drama Desk Award winner Michael Urie, reprising the role he originated Off-Broadway, and Academy Award and Tony winner Merdeces Ruehl. It also features Ward Horton, Jack DiFalco, Roxanna Hope Radja, and Michael Hsu Rosen.

Torch Song follows Arnold Beckoff's (Urie) journey to find happiness, love, and family in New York. The show explores love and relationships, families we're born into and those we choose, and above all, the struggle to find ourselves.

The creative team includes David Zinn (set design), Clint Ramos (costume design), David Lander (lighting design), and John Gromada (sound design).
