Two-time Oscar winner Jane Fonda is also a two-time Tony Award nominee. Her first nomination was for her Broadway debut in the 1960 play There Was a Little Girl by Daniel Taradash; she was also nominated for her performance in Moisés Kaufman's 33 Variations in 2009 (the last time she was seen on Broadway).
She has also appeared on Broadway in Invitation to a March, The Fun Couple, and Strange Interlude.
In celebration of her birthday on December 21, we're taking a look back at her Broadway career:
Playbill followed choreographer Lorin Latarro around as she juggled rehearsals for two different Broadway shows: The Who's Tommy and The Heart of Rock and Roll.
