Wishful Drinking, a solo play written and starring Carrie Fisher, opened at Studio 54 October 4, 2009. The production played 15 preview sand 133 performances before closing January 17, 2010.

Known for her performance as Princess Leia, Wishful Drinking takes the audiences on a rollercoaster ride through her life in Hollywood, two celebrity parents, her iconic role in Star Wars, a marriage to Paul Simon, addiction, recovery, and motherhood.
