Liza Minnelli Will Join Michael Feinstein for One-Night Concert in Las Vegas

Three-time Tony recipient Liza Minnelli and the master of the Great American Songbook Michael Feinstein join forces for a concert at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Tickets go on sale December 13 at 10AM PT for the March 30, 2018 show. Feinstein will lead the evening, a retrospective of the career of his longtime friend, Minnelli. Through stories told onstage, video footage, and live performance, the pair will relive some of the greatest moments of their careers.

Minnelli won her first Tony Award in 1965 for her work in Flora the Red Menace, her Broadway debut. She received a Special Tony Award in 1974 and won another Tony statue in 1978 for The Act. Her other Broadway credits include Roxie Hart in Chicago, Angel in The Rink, Victoria Grant in Victor/Victoria, Minnelli on Minnelli, and Liza at the Palace.... She won an Oscar in 1973 for her landmark performance as Sally Bowles in the film version of the musical Cabaret.

Feinstein first met Minnelli through her father, Vincent Minnelli, a dear friend of George and Ira Gershwin, for whom Feinstein worked. The renowned musician, pianist, and personality recently joined Playbill Travel in presenting Broadway on the Danube River With Michael Feinstein. A renowned performer in his own right, Feinstein’s intimate concerts are a staple of the cabaret scene.
