In the video above listen to “Godric’s Hollow,” a never-before-heard track from The Music of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, an album of music by Imogen Heap from the Tony-winning production at the Lyric Theatre. The video also features never-before-seen footage from the play.

Written, composed, performed, and recorded by Grammy and Ivor Novello Award winner Heap, The Music of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be released November 2 by Sony Music Masterworks. The recording can be pre-ordered here.

The album is presented as four contemporary musical suites, each showcasing one of the play’s theatrical acts.

Based on an original story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany and inspired by the characters and world of Rowling's wildly successful Harry Potter book series, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts One and Two features a script by Thorne, direction by Tiffany, and movement by Steven Hoggett.

The work had its world premiere in July 2016 at London's Palace Theatre, where its sold-out run continues. A Broadway transfer featuring much of the original London cast opened at the Lyric Theatre in April 2018. The New York production won six 2018 Tony Awards, including Best Play. An Australian production is set to begin at Melbourne's Princess Theatre in January 2019, with a second North American company and German production set to follow.
