The 2019 edition of Broadway Belts for PFF will feature Tony Award winner Lindsay Mendez (Carousel), as well as Broadway-bound Tootsie star Santino Fontana, Robert Creighton (currently on Broadway in Frozen), Tony nominee Ariana DeBose (Summer), and Tony nominee Mary Testa at the Edison Ballroom on February 25.
The event raises money for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, which aids in the fight against the disease that affects over 200,000 Americans annually. The benefit began as a tribute to the Associated Press theater critic, Michael Kuchwara, who died of pulmonary fibrosis in 2010. Every year since, Broadway stars have graced the stage, belting their favorite Broadway tunes in support.
Julie Halston, who will star alongside Fontana in Tootsie, will host this year's concert. For tickets and more information, visit PulmonaryFibrosis.org.
