Broadway News Lincoln Center TKTS Booth to List Ticket Prices—Not Percents The change goes into effect August 1.

Beginning August 1, the Lincoln Center TKTS discount ticket booth by Theatre Development Fund will list ticket prices rather than percent discounts on its boards, according to TDF.

The change is prompted by the recent growing disparity between ticket prices for different shows.

Lincoln Center is one of four locations of TKTS booths throughout New York City, which also includes Times Square, South Street Seaport, and the MetroTech Center in Brooklyn. TDF plans to implement the changes to all of the booths if all goes well at Lincoln Center.

Now in its 50th year, TDF is a not-for-profit service organization for the performing arts, dedicated to bringing the power of the performing arts to everyone. TDF’s mission is to sustain live theatre and dance by engaging and cultivating a broad and diverse audience and eliminating barriers to attendance. To learn more, visit www.tdf.org.
