Jessica Lange, who earned her first Tony Award for her performance as Mary Tyrone in Roundabout Theatre Company’s 2016 Broadway revival of Long Day’s Journey Into Night, will be celebrated at the company’s 2018 gala, “A Legendary Night.” The event will take place February 26 at the Ziegfeld Ballroom.
The festivities will include a live auction and dinner, as well as a special concert performance from Emmy and Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth, who earned her third Tony nomination in 2015 for her star turn in Roundabout’s production of On the Twentieth Century.
Prior to the concert, Oscar winner Lange, whose theatre credits also include The Glass Menagerie and A Streetcar Named Desire, will receive the Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre, given to individuals who have impacted both Roundabout Theatre Company and the theatre community as a whole.
The creative team for the gala will be announced at a later date. For more information, visit RoundaboutTheatre.org/Gala.
