Megan Hilty, Kerry Butler, Sierra Boggess, and Maureen McGovern are among the big names who will take center stage at the July 6 Seattle, Washington, edition of the Concert for America: Stand Up, Sing Out! series that is raising money for human rights organizations.
They will be joined by Melissa Manchester, Dinay Manoff, Caety Sagioan, Naomi Morgan, Trina Mills, Diverse Harmony, and Spectrum Dance Theatre in the evening of songs, comedy, and commentary that will commence at 7 PM at 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle.
The monthly Concerts for America series, created by Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley, benefits The Southern Poverty Law Center, National Immigration Law Center, The Sierra Club Foundation, NAACP, and National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Participating performers are subject to change.
Shoshana Bean and Roger Bart, who were originally announced to take part, have withdrawn due to competing commitments. Rudetsky, a Playbill columnist and Sirius/XM radio personality, will host the 7 PM concert.
For those unable to attend the Seattle Concert for America in person, it will be broadcast via Facebook Live on the Concert for America and 5th Avenue Theatre Facebook pages and at ConcertsforAmerica.com, beginning at 10 PM ET / 7 PM PDT on July 6.
