Cabaret & Concert News Kelli O’Hara Headlines Solo Concert in Pittsburgh September 25 The TRUST Cabaret Series season continues with Cheyenne Jackson, Marin Mazzie, and other Broadway stars.

Six-time Tony Award nominee and 2015 winner for The King and I Kelli O'Hara will perform a special solo concert to herald the 2017–18 season for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s 2017–18 TRUST Cabaret Series season at the August Wilson Center for African American Culture in Pittsburgh on September 25.

O’Hara has a special history with the city and its institutions; she headlined the Cultural Trust’s 25th anniversary gala in 2009.

She won her Tony for playing Anna Leonowens in the Lincoln Center revival of The King and I, and earned previous nominations for her performances in South Pacific, The Pajama Game, The Light in the Piazza, The Bridges of Madison County, and Nice Work If You Can Get It. In June she took part in a reading of the new musical by Pulitzer winner Tom Kitt at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center.

She currently appears in the cast of the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why, and also played Mrs. Darling in NBC’s telecast of Peter Pan Live!

The Pittsburgh season will continue with Cheyenne Jackson, star of Broadway’s Xanadu and Finian’s Rainbow, plus TV’s American Horror Story, on October 16; Lucie Arnaz (November 13); Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley (February 12, 2018); Carmen Cusack (March 12); and LaChanze (April 16). These performances take place at the Cabaret at Theater Square, 655 Penn Avenue.

O’Hara, Jackson, Mazzie, and Danieley have been a special guest performers on Playbill’s Broadway on the High Seas cruises. Cusack is scheduled to be a guest aboard Playbill’s Broadway on the High Seas July 2018 cruise to Iceland, accompanied by Judy Kuhn, Christine Ebersole, Rob McClure, Jarrod Spector, and Sierra Boggess.

Cabins are also available for Broadway on the Danube River with Michael Feinstein for November 3–13, 2017, also featuring Rachel Bay Jones, Julia Murney, Christopher Fitzgerald, Marc Kudisch, Christopher Sieber, Brandon Uranowitz, and Seth Rudetsky, as well as other exciting talent to be announced.
