Broadway star Karen Mason is celebrating the release of her new solo album It’s About Time with a March 6 concert at Birdland night club in Manhattan.

The 12-time MAC Award-winning performer is promising a playlist that includes “A House is Not a Home,” “What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life,” “Everything’s Coming Up Roses,” and the title cut, an anthem of love and marriage equality written by her husband, Paul Rolnick.

Mason has six Broadway credits, including a stint as standby Norma Desmond during the original run of Sunset Boulevard. She most recently appeared as the Queen of Hearts in the 2011 musical Wonderland.

Tickets for the 7 PM concert cost $30 and there is a $10 food or beverage minimum per person, per show. Birdland is located at 315 West 44th Street in Manhattan, just west of the Times Square theatre district.

Mason has been a featured performing guest on two of Playbill’s Broadway on the High Seas cruises—most recently to the Caribbean in February 2017. Playbill’s upcoming inaugural river cruise along the Rhône River in May 2017 is sold out, but cabins are available for the Rhine River cruise in August 2017, featuring Seth Rudetsky, Andréa Burns, Faith Prince, Terrence Mann, Charlotte d’Amboise, and more exciting talent to be announced.
