The concert, which is the brainchild of Axelrod Artistic Director Andrew DePrisco, will feature performances by Luft as well as Tony winner Debbie Gravitte (Jerome Robbins Broadway, Les Miserables), 10-time MAC winner Karen Mason (Sunset Boulevard, Mamma Mia!), Joan Ellison (The Boy From Oz), and Gabrielle Stravelli (Bistro Award winner). The performers will interpret 28 of Garland’s greatest hits utilizing the original orchestrations.

The death of Judy Garland in 1969 coincided with the Stonewall Riots in Greenwich Village, which launched the gay rights movement. Garden State Equality, the state’s biggest LGBTQ organization, is a supporter of the evening, as is Broadway’s Mason.

Said Mason, “This concert, for me, is perfection! I get to express my utmost support for the LGBTQ community and human equality through the music of my idol, Judy Garland, who exemplified compassion, intelligence, and inclusion. I will always be there to celebrate diversity ‘come rain or come shine!’”

Tickets prices range from $42 to $79 and are on sale through Ticketmaster or the Paramount Theatre box office by calling (732) 897-6500.
