Kara Lindsay rejoins the Broadway cast of Beautiful – The Carole King Musical July 12, stepping back into the role of Cynthia Weil at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.
The Broadway favorite will succeed Jessica Keenan Wynn, having first played the role as a replacement while Wynn took a leave of absence to film the upcoming Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again.
Lindsay’s additional Broadway credits include Wicked and Newsies; she’s also appeared regionally in Singin’ in the Rain, Mary Poppins, and Cinderella.
The current cast includes Supergirl star Melissa Benoist as Carole King (through August 4), Ben Jacoby as Barry Mann, Evan Todd as Gerry Goffin, and Paul Anthony Stewart as Don Kirshner.
