Two-time Tony Award nominee Joshua Henry and his wife Cathryn Henry have announced the birth of their first child. They have named their son Samson Peter Henry.
Henry is currently starring in the Broadway revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel opposite Jessie Mueller. Performances began at the Imperial Theatre February 28 ahead of an April 12 opening night.
Henry's credits include the Chicago and national touring productions of Hamilton, as well as Shuffle Along, Violet, Bring It On: The Musical, Porgy and Bess, American Idiot, The Scottsboro Boys, and In The Heights. Last fall he played Jamie opposite Cynthia Erivo in a one-night-only concert of Jason Robert Brown’s The Last Five Years.
Joshua and Cathryn met at the University of Miami and wed in October 2012.
