The Ferryman, directed by Sam Mendes, will welcome Maureen Beattie as Aunt Maggie Far Away, Charles Dale as Father Horrigan, Laurie Davidson as Shane Corcoran, Fra Fee as Michael Carney, Stuart Graham as Muldoon, Sarah Greene as Caitlin Carney, William Houston as Quinn Carney, Ivan Kaye as Tom Kettle, Mark Lambert as Uncle Patrick Carney, Carla Langley as Shena Carney, Catherine McCormack as Mary Carney, Fergal McElherron as Frank Magennis, Conor MacNeill as Diarmaid Corcoran, Rob Malone as Oisin Carney, Dearbhla Molloy as Aunt Pat Carney, Glenn Speers as Lawrence Malone, and Niall Wright as JJ Carney.

The new company will begin performances October 9.

The Ferryman, which had its world premiere at London's Royal Court earlier this year, broke box-office records when it sold out its entire run in a single day. The West End run opened officially June 29.

The cast of 37—17 adults, 7 covers, 12 children, and 1 baby—was previously led by Paddy Considine, Laura Donnelly, and Genevieve O’Reilly as Quinn Carney, Caitlin Carney, and Mary Carney, respectively.

The play is set in Northern Ireland in the early '80s during the Carney farmhouse's annual harvest celebration and feast. The festivities are halted by the arrival of an unexpected visitor.

The original company also featured Elise Alexandre, Sophia Ally, Bríd Brennan, Meibh Campbell, Turlough Convery, Grace Doherty, Fra Fee, Oliver Finnegan, Tom Glynn-Carney, Stuart Graham, Isla Griffiths, John Hodgkinson, Gerard Horan, Amy Jayne, Scarlett Jolly, Carla Langley, Des McAleer, Michael McCarthy, Conor MacNeill, Rob Malone, Dearbhla Molloy, Clara Murphy, Jack Nuttall, Angel O’Callaghan, Eugene O’Hare, and Niall Wright.

The Ferryman is produced in the West End by Sonia Friedman Productions and Neal Street. The production features designs by Rob Howell, with lighting by Peter Mumford, and sound and original music by Nick Powell.
