Former Waitress star Jessie Mueller, Hamilton lead Javier Muñoz, and Shuffle Along’s Tony nominee Adrienne Warren will share the spotlight with 60 New York City public school students at the annual Passing It On: An Evening of Mentorship showcase on behalf of Rosie’s Theatre Kids April 23 at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College in Manhattan.

Starting at 7 PM the students will perform music, dance, and spoken-word pieces choreographed and directed by Chase Brock (Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark), B.D. Wong (M. Butterfly), and Camille A. Brown. Lisa Danser serves as overall director for the evening, with music supervision by Steven Jamail and commentary written by mentor Tim Federle (Tuck Everlasting).

Founded in 2003 by actor and talk show host Rosie O’Donnell and Lori Klinger, Rosie’s Theatre Kids is a New York-based not-for-profit dance and music program for the city’s under-served public school students. Klinger continues as artistic director.

The Kaye Playhouse is located inside the north building at Hunter College, 68th Streeet between Park and Lexington Avenues. Priced at $10, $25 and $150, tickets for Passing It On are on sale to the general public at Rosiestheaterkids.org/pio2017 or by calling (212) 772-4448.
