Jeremy Jordan will be the next guest performer to join Jason Robert Brown in his ongoing artistic residency at SubCulture for the September 17 concert engagement.

Brown made the announcement during his August show, which featured The Color Purple Tony winner Cynthia Erivo.

Jordan performed as part of the star-studded concert that first launched the residency in December 2014.

Each month, Brown performs at SubCulture with a different musical guest. Past guests have included Sutton Foster, Gavin Creel, Kelli O’Hara, Mykal Kilgore, Stephen Schwartz, Tom Kitt, Norbert Leo Butz, Chris Jackson, Andréa Burns, Jessica Vosk, and Todrick Hall.

Jordan made his Broadway debut in the 2009 Broadway revival of West Side Story. He then appeared in Rock of Ages before starring opposite Laura Osnes in Bonnie & Clyde on Broadway; he earned a Tony nomination for his portrayal of Jack Kelly in Newsies that same season. Jordan has been busy working on the small screen in series like Smash and Supergirl, and starred as Jamie Wellerstein in the film adaptation of Brown’s The Last Five Years opposite Anna Kendrick. Jordan will return to Broadway this fall in American Son, starring alongside Kerry Washington and Steven Pasquale.

Tickets are currently on sale for Brown’s two upcoming residencies September 17 and October 20; a guest artist for October has not yet been announced. Previous ticketholders and SubCulture mailing list subscribers receive advance notice of ticket on-sale dates and guest artist announcements.
