Jennifer Holliday, who won a Tony Award for her volcanic performance as Effie White in the 1981 musical Dreamgirls, will sing a solo concert of showtunes 8 PM August 21, as part of the Musical Mondays series at Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor, New York.

Holliday also appeared on Broadway in The Color Purple, Chicago, Grease, and Your Arms Too Short to Box With God.

Due to a recent surgery, previously announced Ben Vereen has canceled his announced engagement.
