Jarrod Spector and Kelli Barrett Will Ask Audiences to Look at It My Way July 17 | Playbill

Cabaret & Concert News Jarrod Spector and Kelli Barrett Will Ask Audiences to Look at It My Way July 17 The real-life couple will join Bay Street Theatre’s Musical Mondays series.

Tony Award nominee Jarrod Spector and Broadway veteran Kelli Barrett will trace their road to becoming husband and wife in their July 17 cabaret show as part of the Musical Mondays series at Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor in eastern Long Island, New York.

They premiered the duo concert, titled Look at It My Way, in April 2017 at Feinstein’s/54 Below in New York.

Inspired by their mutual favorite film, When Harry Met Sally, the performing couple will tell “the story of how they ended up together—from each of their often wildly divergent perspectives” as they perform pop (Prince, Peter Gabriel), rock (REO Speedwagon, Beatles), soul (Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles), and showtunes.

Spector earned a Tony nomination for originating the role of Barry Mann in Beautiful. He also starred as Frankie Valli in the long-running Broadway Jersey Boys. Barrett originated the lead role of Lara in the 2015 Broadway musical adaptation of Doctor Zhivago, and was previously seen at Bay Street in its 2016 production of My Fair Lady. Other credits include principal roles in Broadway's Wicked, Baby It’s You!, and The Royal Family.

Tickets for the 8 PM July 17 concert cost $45–$85 and can be ordered by clicking here or by calling (631) 725-9500.

Spector is scheduled to be a special guest performer on Playbill’s Broadway on the High Seas July 2018 cruise to Iceland, accompanied by Judy Kuhn, Christine Ebersole, Rob McClure, and Sierra Boggess.
