The American premiere of Linda, a new play by The Ruins of Civilization playwright Penelope Skinner, opened Off-Broadway February 28 featuring Olivier Award winner Janie Dee in the title role. The Manhattan Theatre Club production began preview performances February 7 with direction by artistic director Lynne Meadow.

In the production, Dee stars as Linda Wilde, an award-winning senior executive as well as a busy and successful wife and mother. Linda’s status is disrupted by the aspirations of a younger, ambitious work colleague and family life that is beginning to show cracks.
