Actor Jackie Hoffman will soon begin filming The Social Ones, a mockumentary indie “parodying social media and how it is taking over our society,” according to Deadline.
The Broadway regular will co-star alongside Tony nominee Richard Kind and Broadway alum Stephanie March in the film, written and directed by Laura Kosann from The New Potato Studios.
Hoffman last appeared on Broadway as Mrs. Teavee in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Prior to that, she appeared in On the Town, The Addams Family, and Hairspray. The stage and screen favorite was nominated for a 2017 Emmy Award for her work as Mamacita in FX’s Feud: Bette & Joan from producer Ryan Murphy.
She’s also known for her role in Hulu’s Difficult People and the soap One Life to Live.
