Off-Broadway News Isabelle Huppert-Led The Mother Begins Off-Broadway French playwright Florian Zeller, who penned The Father, returns to the U.S. with a play about a woman grasping for stability.

Performances begin February 20 for the U.S. premiere of The Mother, a new play by Florian Zeller (The Father) translated by Christopher Hampton and directed by Trip Cullman. Oscar nominee Isabelle Huppert stars as a woman grasping for stability as the family she has given everything to live their own lives.

The Mother also features Golden Globe Award nominee Chris Noth (The Good Wife), The Get Down's Justice Smith, and Odessa Young (Days of Rage).

The American premiere will officially open March 11 and, following an extension, continues through April 13.

The Mother features scenic design by Mark Wendland, costume design by Anita Yavich, lighting design by Ben Stanton, sound design and original composition by Fitz Patton, projections by Lucy MacKinnon, and casting by Telsey + Company, William Cantler, CSA; Adam Caldwell, CSA; Karyn Casl, CSA.
