Los Angeles News Hershey Felder Brings Our Great Tchaikovsky to L.A. July 19 The actor-pianist’s latest solo work brings to life the Russian composer famous for his scores to The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty.

Our Great Tchaikovsky, actor-pianist Hershey Felder’s “time-bending tale of music, politics and one of the world’s most beloved composers,” receives its Los Angeles premiere July 19–August 6 at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, California.

The solo piece is directed by Felder’s frequent collaborator, Trevor Hay.

During his run at the Wallis, Felder is also slated to perform The Great American Song Book Sing-Along July 31 at 7:30 PM. The evening will include songs by the Gershwins, Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim, and more.
