HBO has picked up the new romantic comedy thriller Run, co-created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (currently Off-Broadway in Fleabag) and Vicky Jones, according to Deadline.
Domhnall Gleeson (Broadway's The Lieutenant of Inishmore) and Emmy winner Merritt Wever (Godless) co-star in the series, which also features Waller-Bridge in a recurring role.
Penned by Jones, Run casts Wever as Ruby, who receives a text offering her the chance to reinvent herself and reestablish a relationship with her oldest flame (Gleeson).

The pilot was directed by Kate Dennis, who is also an executive producer.
Waller-Bridge’s other series include BBC's Fleabag (adapted from her monologue play) and Killing Eve.
