Cast Recordings & Albums Hamilton's Mandy Gonzalez Releases Bonus Track of Bruce Springsteen‘s ‘Born to Run’ Tony winner Alex Lacamoire penned the arrangement.
Mandy Gonzalez, who is currently starring in the Broadway production of the Tony-winning Hamilton as Angelica Schuyler, has re-released a digital version of her debut solo recording Fearless featuring a bonus track of the Bruce Springsteen classic “Born to Run.”

The song’s new arrangement is by Grammy and Tony winner Alex Lacamoire (Hamilton, In the Heights, and Dear Evan Hansen). A video preview of the song, taped last year at the Café Carlyle, can be viewed above.

The recording, which bridges pop and R&B, features new tunes by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jennifer Nettles, Bill Sherman, and Tom Kitt as well as a duet with Christopher Jackson, the Hamilton star who was featured opposite Gonzalez in In the Heights. The recording also includes an intimate version of her signature song, In the Heights’ “Breathe,” and a remake of the classic “Que Será, Será.”

Gonzalez is the first artist launched on a new imprint under the Arts Music umbrella recently formed by Warner Music Group.
