The Band’s Visit, Mean Girls, and SpongeBob SquarePants

As previously reported, Disney’s Frozen will launch its national tour at the Pantages. Performances will run December 4 through February 2, 2020.

The new lineup also marks the first season following the partnership between CIM Group and the Hollywood Pantages Theatre, allowing CIM’s Dolby Theatre—the home of the Academy Awards ceremonies—to welcome large-scale theatrical productions. With a seating capacity of 3,400, the theatre be the largest option for touring shows (with the Pantages holding 2,700 and Center Theatre Group’s Ahmanson Theatre seating 2,000).

First to play the Dolby will be the Jimmy Buffett musical Escape to Margaritaville, running February 18–March 8, 2020. Four other musicals from Broadway’s 2017–2018 season round out the roster: SpongeBob SquarePants (now billed as The SpongeBob Musical, running March 24–April 12), Mean Girls (April 28–June 7), Lincoln Center Theater’s revival of My Fair Lady (June 12–July 5), and the most recent Best Musical Tony winner, The Band’s Visit (July 7–26).

Season ticket packages are available for current subscribers and new customers beginning February 5, with single tickets going on sale at a later date. 2019–2020 season subscribers will have priority access to Hamilton when tickets for the return engagement go on sale.
