Disney's long-running The Lion King, which celebrated its 20th Broadway anniversary this past November, brought in $2,029,508 at the box office for the week ending February 18. Only the Pulitzer Prize-winning Hamilton took in more—$3,088,002—for the period that included the Presidents' Day Weekend.

Nearly all shows’ figures increased from the previous week, with School of Rock ($935,219) and Wicked ($1,818,771) enjoying the biggest increases.
Springsteen on Broadway, usually a top earner, was on hiatus, scheduled to resume performances February 28 at the Walter Kerr.
In addition to The Lion King, Hamilton, and Wicked, eight additional shows broke the $1 million mark: Aladdin, Anastasia, Come From Away, Dear Evan Hansen, Hello, Dolly!, The Book of Mormon, The Phantom of the Opera, and Waitress (in its first full week following Jason Mraz's limited run).
Lastly, new kid on the block Escape to Margaritaville, which offered two previews at the Marquis over the weekend, played to 94.37% capacity, bringing in $396,813.
